This privacy policy applies to the Trenpy mobile application, created by Plaidessa (eyupcanee@gmail.com).
Data Collection and Use
Trenpy is designed with your privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or require any personally identifiable information (such as name, email address, or phone number) for you to use the app. All your cycle data, notes, and symptoms are stored strictly locally on your device. We do not have access to your health data.
Advertising and Data Sharing
To support the development of Trenpy, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. We have removed major third-party trackers (such as Meta/Facebook and AppLovin) to minimize data sharing. Depending on your region and your explicit consent, the ads you see may be personalized.
With your consent, Google AdMob may use device identifiers and your general interests or past behavior (gathered outside of our app) to serve you more relevant ads.
Important Note: Your personal health data, cycle data, notes, and symptoms entered in Trenpy remain completely local to your device and are never accessed, shared, or used for advertising purposes.
If you choose not to consent to personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your past behavior or personal profile. Instead, they will use contextual information (such as the app's category).
Depending on your region and consent choices, our partner (Google AdMob) may use:
- General location data (e.g., country or city level).
- Technical device information to prevent fraud and ensure ad delivery.
For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we use a Consent Management Platform (CMP) to ensure compliance with GDPR, allowing you to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads. On iOS 14.5 and later, we respect Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
